Just wanted to say Hello to all the fellow clusterheads. What a great looking site. Has anyone ever heard anything about C/H being related to other neurological or brain disorders? I have suffered from C/H for about 15 years, and recently found that I had a slow growing brain tumor. After reading some interesting facts about how C/H work affecting the nerves and vessels around the eye, I became curious, since this is the same area where my tumor developed. Luckily I was able to have most of it removed with only minimal impact on my brain function and cognitive abilities. It still makes me curious if there could have been some underlying relationship between the two.

I doubt tumor has anything to do with CH, I dont have one but have chronic CH for more than 27 yrs.

Join OUCH dude, grab an oar and help us row this damn boat of pain to a cure.

Hi Frozn, glad to meet you. I agree with Jonny. Dont think tumors and CH are related. I think if that were the case, most of us would have realized by now, being that many members as myself have had CH for over 20 years and longer.

Glad they removed the tumor successfully....but really sorry you have ch's.

This place is a wellspring of info....just pull up a chair and start reading.

Hi frozn. They checked me pretty thoroughly for tumors and came up negative.

Hi frozn... glad you found us.

It happens that I saw a Neuro today... first time since I started having CHs 14-15 years ago. He asked if I had ever had a CT scan or MRI. I told him no... but my guess is that 14-15 years later, my CHs aren't caused by a brain tumor or anything else that could be seen with a scan.... or I'd have no brain left.

Welcome to the board, pull up a chair and jump in.

I do remember when I first went to a Neurologist I would have been glad for it to be a tumor. I had suffered so long and nothing had helped ANY help would have been welcome. Thank God for Triptans.

Man, I hate to say this but I wish the cause were as easy as a tumor. At least they could cut the darn thing out and put an end to the pain for everyone here. Anyway, welcome aboard and grab that oar that Jonny offered ...
