I know some of what you are going through & I am so sorry.

I too have been through an abusive marriage, got laid- off (lost my job), lost my car ( the "demon spawn" overheated it & burned it up), & deal with CH.

I have a Protective Order against my ex-wife for the next 3 years (ex, thank God) because of her abusive ways & threats (said she was going to kill me in my sleep, etc...) , had the evil one (the ex) taken out of the house in handcuffs & thrown in jail, got laid-off mid-November from my job, went through a divorce, lost my Chevy when she overheated it & then poured cold water on & in the motor then drove it 5 more miles (no compression on #6 cylinder now), found the "demon spawn" had hidden credit cards & loans I knew nothing about, my whole family (blood) turned their backs on me (my so called "dad" bailed her (the ex) out, the evil one lives with my sister now.... go figure), & I deal with CH (episodic, I am lucky).

*I am explaining all this to you don so you know I do know part/some of what you are going through.

Anything I can do to help, just let me know.
I was reading your post & it looked like a script to my life lately.

I truly can relate to your situation & would be glad to "be there" for you.

All I can say for what it is worth is it does get better after time. The CH family/friends & my local friends have really pulled me through so if I can give you whatever support you need right now, let me know.

don, I haven't really got to know you during my time here but don't let that stop you if you need some support.

If this is intrusive into your business, I do apologise,
just trying to help.

Sorry again Sir for what you are going through, life sometimes gives us pits & we need to spit 'em out & go on. To survive is to win.

Anyway, I will stop my ramble & get this posted.

BTW, Net Zero is free internet access - only 10 hours per month, but better than nothing at all.

There is very little I would consider as intrusive from another clusterbud.

I'm a survivor of my own self destructive ways and I'll survive this to. The difference is this.........

Don, i am sorry that it has taken me so long to respond to jonny's original call for us to rally. i have no excuse except being to wrapped up in my own little crappy world, but i want you and every other clusterhead and supporter to know that in my heart i am always there for you!!!
my e-mail is on my profile and physically i am located on the eastern shore of md. ( an hour from baltimore, 1 1/2 from d.c. and 2 1/4 from philly) any way i can help let me know. and that goes for any of you reading this thread..

O.K. Now I'M bumping this to the top.

Here's my suggestion:

There are 3000-plus people here. If everyone of us sent Don only one measly dollar.......he could go to
St. Thomas for a month. (his..and my favorite place in the world)

I'd be willign to invest at LEAST $20. My thoughts are $60,000 goes a lot further than 3K.

I'll need a guarantee of ROE, of course. Perhaps a drink on the islands. And a sail. How I love to sail.....
