Only 1000 Maybach sedans will be built in 2003. Prices start at $310,000 for the M57, $360,000 for the M62. Even with extensive use of aluminum, it weighs 6116 pounds. The M57 tips the scales at 5852 pounds. To move that much metal, the cars both have a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V12 rated at 550 hp.

Get the M57.
The M62 is to be chauffer driven. Do you really want to be stuck in the backseat while someone else drives your car?
My choice would be to get a Bentley Continental at only $335,500. You'd have enough money left over to buy a fully loaded Hyundai to keep in the trunk.
