I'm starting a new thread to thank the many many people who helped through this week. It was a tough fight, and yesterday was easier than the day before with only one round with the withdrawals to battle, and today I was up and about and feeling much more like myself again. The fog is gone and the sun is shining.

The beast is still there, lurking, but he will soon be a memory, and I know that I can beat this solo, no narcotics for me.

This family is the best in the world. And I will return 10 fold what you have given me in strength and courage and love. I can't wait to hug you all in person at the ~~family reunion~~ convention.

Zaira gave me this very precious gift, and I want to share it with everyone here, she depicted my situation so accurately I cried when I saw it. I want to share her talent with everyone though, she is incredible at what she does:

Echo,

It's been a hellish enough week just doing that detox and that was without overusing or abusing the medication. And only after 3 months, I shudder to think how hard that detox would be had I continued or for those that were able to empart their experience and wisdom to me.

I'm just glad I saw what was happening and was able to change it. It's not over, but it's much easier :)

Cat, when I read you were bad, I had the idea to do this pic and I send you with pleasure.
So when you’ll see it you will remember of me!
Today one of my italian friends (he’s not clusterhead) told me that he’ll do a tattoo (Pam-Jonny HONK!! ;D ;D) in the arm with this pic, he will look at it when he’ll feel unlucky and so he’ll think of us clusterhead.
