why is forum time a half hour behind time in my world?

I was wondering the same thing. I noticed it about a month ago. But DJ has not been well lately so I didn't want to bother him with it. I was going to wait another month and if the problem still existed post it in the technical problem section. If you want to post it there now feel free to do so.

Aaactually I just looked in the technical section and found that the problem was already reported in Dec. So I am sure DJ is aware of it and it is just a matter of time before it is fixed.

I've noticed that as well. I've also noticed I am not getting notified of replies to threads even though I mark it to be notified.

As Karla said, the problem was already adressed in December, but a workaraound was given too. ;D

The forum clock runs half an hour late compared to east coast time. So east coast people should write 0.5 into the "Time Offset" box on their profile page, while for the west coast a value of -2.5 should do.

sheesh! and I thought it was because DJ was a transplanted Newfie ;D
