An ouch uk member got this reply from Holland and Barrett about the information on thier site.... :o

After 32 years of clusters and 4 years on this site, I have come to believe:

1.) Heavy drinking causes clusters.
2.) More males are heavy drinkers than females, hence the larger ratio of male sufferers (also why it is known as the Businessman's headache).
3.) Smoking shortens your remission times.
4.) If you smoke enough you'll become chronic.
5.) Women don't get clusters.

And that's all I know (how'd I do hub?).

You are right Bob! I know, cuz when I started getting clusters, I was a 12 year old, heavily drinking, 3 pack a day smoking, boy.

Well Bob, its nice to know that women dont get clusters. I guess its just an ice pic stuck inside my skull. Phew... I feel better now. ;)

....I just assumed I kept falling on the ice pick while drunk....or, one of my family members were sneaking up behind me and smacking the knife in..... :-/

Sherry, I guess I didn't notice the change from man to woman....I was so old...I just didn't pay attention. That'll teach me to look down every now and then... :-*

The heavy drinking and smoking didn't change when the sex did, thank god. ;D

That's exactly what I meant hub.

Well, damn! I wasn't a drinker and I got clusters anyway. There must be a businesswomen's headache too, cause I'm not the only one out here. I don't smoke, but I am chronic and there hasn't been a remission for six years. I am 100% woman (I just checked) and I STILL have cluster headaches.

Maybe if I grow a penis, take up heavy drinking and smoking, these things will just disappear?...course I would have some explaining to do to my husband...
