Yep, got 20 inches so far in staten island and still coming down like mad. No stairs, no cars, all hidden by the drifts. But I got my food and smokes and all is good. ;)

We got about 15" so far in CT, still coming down big time......Cars buried but who cares, No kids, fresh supply of imitrex, full O2 bottle, couple cartons of smokes...I'm all set....Oh shit forgot to buy food.... ;D

I know what you guys mean! This is how it looked at my house yesterday afternoon. It was crazy, the breeze came up and it dropped down to 70 degrees F. I had to go inside to take this picture for fear of hypothermia!

We got hammer'd bad here in Ohio Sunday and Sunday eve....worst I seen 'or went out in' for a long ass time....we usually don't go out in that kinda weather but all they'd predicted was maybe a couple inches not a blind'n windy as hell blizzerd lasting all eve into the nite. We were at a benifit fer a freind when they announced that most all roads were closed.....huh ? And I had a good draft beer buzz goin but had that SCAREY drive home ! Wanted ta kiss the ground when I got home but I peuked instead....dam draft beer....never agin !!!!! Pam-snowed-in-and-honker-is-hungover

i had a real good reason to leave sunny malibu and venture back here to gods country on the banks of the bay, i just wish like hell i could remember what it was!!!

It's looking ominous up here in New Hampster but now snow yet. We're supposed to get 12-14" here and more south of us.

Hey Jonny - I see Beantown is getting hit with 60 mph winds! It must feel pretty friggin cold down there (it's only 12 here now).

Ahhh, frankly we've had so much this year that anything less than 12 inches seems like a dusting. If you live in the northeast, you learn to dresswarm, snowmobile, and sip brandy. (In between episodes, of course.)

Hi Rico.... this was WAY more than 12".

I know us cityfolk (Queens, NY ;D) are less adaptable to this snow stuff....the northerner's are always letting us know this ain't nuttin.....global warming hasn't helped. I remember as a kid always bundling up and sliding down a hill and out of the park (yeah...these weren't real sleds either :P) for hours. Its been a while.

Now I don't get to enjoy it...... I just get to shovel for about an hour and a half just to SEE my car. We had an APB out and all the kids were looking for my car. Of course everyone else had been out earlier and so mine was the one of a few under. I guess since my car is white, everyone thought it was an empty spot with a snow pile and the kids got paid 20 bucks a pop to get rid of the sidewalk snow.

Guess where that snow ended up...... >:(........then the Old Crab Ratchit is tapping at her window for me to stop as I'm throwing the snow off my car....onto her walk..... 12 feet out from the house.

I told her to call the cops.... told her a couple of other things in sign language that I can't repeat here either.

HEYYyyyyyy :D..... I'm only a supporter here - and comic relief for you if you find me funny....... this one's for the South and West..... ;D.

Actually, We near Buffalo didn't get that much. Less than 8 inches here. Really love the stuff anyway. Good skiing is good for taxes.

Same thing happened to my car Pep. White car is now under a hugh 12ft. pile of snow dumpings. I'm holding out as long as I can, gonna let the boss pick me up every morning. Geez this really sux. Nice to look at but I want it to be gone NOW!

.....and it was all for naught. All my hard work yesterday looked so pretty.

I couldn't find my car again this morning. Do the math. Me shoveling cuz I was thinking ahead + the snow plow finally coming down our block = lost car next morning.
