Ya, I guess so. I am gonna be here all night  at work. I am considered a gun nut but maybe I am softening in my old age. Hell I can't think of a single use for a pistol that has 2600 foot pounds of energy...kill a train maybe? I thought my .357 was big. Only in America.   ::)

Yep, that's a headache waiting to happen. I've been hearing about this gun and if I estimate correctly you'd be getting 90+ ft-lbs of recoil. That's basically 4-5 times the recoil of a normal 30-06 rifle .... youch!!

Funny, I hate guns on one level...what people do with them, and love them on another...target shooting!

I have not had much experience with them but in the Navy we had to go through training (if you are a girl they don't let you mess with the really good ones though ???
I got to disassemble/reassemble (super cool!) a 22 semi-automatic pistol and fire 7 rounds (i.e. one clip...as long as it didn't JAM!!) The person who got closest to the center of the target got to fire a .45.  (wasn't me :'( )

But!  I have also fired a (help me here guys cuz I don't know much about em) 9mm Glock using .357?? bullets and another gun that used the same bullets and the recoil (according to the guys is negligible) was much less on the Glock. Maybe cuz it's plastic.

I always thought I would be a crack shot cuz when I was younger I had a bb gun and was excellent with it.  Could shoot a leaf off a tree at the stem!  But real guns!... big difference.  Course if I could have had some practice......who knows!  Shooting only, say 10 shots ever with a real gun doesn't make an expert marksman!

Well I seem to be rambling here..................... ;D

(My father has a gun that has about a 6 in long barrel, weighs about 2 lbs.  Looks like something Clint Eastwood would use in an old western! LOL  I can't even hold the gun straight out without 2 hands! too heavy!)

I fired five rounds out of a Casull once, my wrist hurt for a week. Now if there is ever a season on trains that 50 looks to be the ticket.
