Sorry to keep bugging ya but:

I just talked to Elaine,
She sounds pretty good.

She has a message for everyone.

She has been on some chemo drugs and some pain killers that keeps her mind in a fog. She does not want to be online while she is in this fog because she is afraid that she might say something to one of us that she doesn't mean.

She wrote that goodbye for WHEN she HAS to say goodbye, or if there comes a time when she can't say goodbye. That time is NOT now.

She is off all drugs and needs to let her mind clear.
She does not want any of you to picture her sick in bed with tubes coming out of her nose, etc. She said that will NEVER happen :)

She made me smile. She is resting right now, she is NOT giving up the fight.
She loves you all.

I read elaines message about packing up her computer and checking out just yesterday. it just makes you silent for a while. having watched a lot of my uncles go thru cancer and the pain and meds that are involved, it is not surprising that she is taking time off . good to hear that she is continuing to fight . she is in my prayers. ERIK.

I just got off the phone with E as well. She sounds very good and sure isn't planning on giving up the fight anytime soon. She says she's going to hug my neck again at the next convention. I'm gonna hold her to that promise. ;)
Takes more than this to knock a Twisted Sister off the perch. Look at DJ - HE's a Twisted Sister too - look at what he just surmounted (so are Linda Howell and Deb Lovejoy). Us Twisted Sisters are tough cookies. ;) Elaine will be back in no time. She just needs a little downtime for now.

Thats funny, Lees......the only people that have seen the BBB's are the ones that were at the Atlanta convention, With sciatica in one leg and the numbness in the other I have never wore them again....They weigh 10 lbs each ;D
