I interviewed today for a promotion with my current company. Funny how they make you apply for the job.

I feel that I hold a slight edge to the competition as I know the market better than the rest.

It has taken ten years to climb the mountain since I was "downsized" and I am hoping that the climb is near the end.

Send good thoughts my way if you would.

Good luck Silver. I'm rooting for you. In today's world it's tough enough to keep a job let alone get promoted within corporate america.

Best of luck to you, Silver!! I am constantly amazed at how intelligent, witty, creative & insightful Clusterheads are-I think it's a shared trait- kinda part of the package-
I know your company would be smart to move you up the ladder......plenty of people will be looking for a good news post from you soon!!! ;)
