Here's the guest info for the resort where I'm hosting the convention.
Recreation and Attractions:
15 acre wooded penninsula that is the resort, Outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi, Sauna/exercise room, massage therapy, gift shop, children's play ground, babysitting services, live entertainment in the skiff lounge/bar, full service marina, Fishing Charters, aquazoo, Boat tours of the 1000 islands, Boldt castle, Bonnie castle greens golf course, as well as many other golf courses, fantasy flights - hot air balloon rides over the islands, Aqua-mania - jet ski safari tours, boat rentals etc., Mazeland Gardens, Pine Tree Point Gun Club, Riding stables, scenic view park, antique boat museum, Alex Bay 500 Go Kart racing.

That's the basic list of main things to do , there are a ton of other things as well, but everything listed above can be coordinated through the resort and is walking distance.

Hey Cat!! Sounds great!

I talked to my hon about it a few days ago and it's a go. We will be there!!! I'm so excited! We could probably take a few people out for a day sail too! Not too many seeing as our sailboat is only a 29 footer, but if anybody is interested, let me know! We'll be crashing on the boat....save a few bucks! (cheat Canadian here! LOL)

If there is anything I can do to help let me know. I'm 3 hours away, but will be in the area as soon as the snow melts.

Hmmmm not 100% sure Linda, but I think there are 2 tables in the skiff lounge. And if there is, well we will just have to ourselves a little OUCH billiards contest! ;)

Hey I got a nice pool table here....ya'll can pratice lill bit of "8-ball".......OUCH version that is....jus so ya got it down pat fer the convention weekend. Got a bar too.....you guys'd could be pro's by convention time....could have a tournament....OUCH pool....8-ball in da corner pocket ! Pam ;)
