Our friend Svenn told me to delete my quarantines every day. Said it’s better to get them out of the system. He knows how to treat a dumbass like me. So far, nothing untoward has happened. Chop away.

Hi Ree!!!!!
 Items quarantined by norton are of questionable origin and substance, best to give em the boot and move on sister. don't want any ugly viruses or worms hangin out.

I had logged a large increase in port scans for the last few days, then it stopped. I bet it was this trying to propagate.......http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A42301-2003Jan25.html Anybody else notice?
Keep your virus and firewall up to snuff yall.  Happy surfing.....

;D ;D ::)

I've got Norton, I thought when these things were in quarantine it meant that when they were given the all clear...six months or whatever...then they let them go...LOL   ::)

Careful what you delete. I was attacked by the ABC virus and norton tried to remove it by quarantined system files when the infection was only in the memory. A scan showed that none of the files were infected but I replaced them anyway. Norton told exactly what the files were and where they were located. Without that information I may have been at a loss why the computer kept crashing.
