Title: Just got Imitrex today for $10.00 Post by chefjohn on May 11th, 2008, 2:45am Just wanted to let everyone out there know that GlacxoSmithKlein has a program called Bridges to Access that if you qualify for will supply you with free Imitrex inhalers. Not sure if it works for anything else of theirs but that is what my script was for. It took a few days and some paprework naturally but I only had to pay a 1 time $10.00 co-pay to the pharmacy and now I can get as many as I am scripted for for the next year for free. The first 60 days they come from the pharmacyand after that GSK mails them directly to you. Any questions about this feel free to contact me or post here. John |

Title: Re: Just got Imitrex today for $10.00 Post by chefjohn on May 13th, 2008, 11:00pm I have an update on the Imitrex offer from GSK. I went today to get a refill and at first they wouldn't give it to me. They told me that I am only allowed 1 prescription ( 6 doses ) per month. I used 5 of them in 2 1/2 days. I thought i was screwed. My Pharmicist who is also my Advocate for me with GSK ( a requirement of their program) spoke to a supervisor at GSK and got an override to get me another 6 doses. But that has to last me until July 10th at which point GSK wil send me 18 doses (a 3 month supply). All this was never explained to me or my advocate at the time of my registration. There was also another $10.00 co pay for this script which also wasn't stated earlier but that was no big deal. All in all I got 12 doses costing $500.00 for $20.00 so I am not complaining at all. i just wnted to update this info for anyone else that may be trying to take advantage of this offer. Any questions feel free to contact me. BTW I got my O2 script today and should be getting my tank tomorrow so hopefully I won't be needing to use the Imitrex as much. Here's wishing your all PF. Sincerely John |
