Title: ........UPDATE.......HEARTFELT THANKS... Post by debOUCH on Mar 24th, 2008, 9:27am My last big hits, were Friday March 14, all nite, every 2 hrs, 8-9 on KipSacale........ with a Level 7 @ 6am on March 18, and a Level 5 on March 21 @ 9pm..........i am getting shadows, but they "seem" to be getting milder.....Pred taper ending today.....I am taking 10mg of Elavil @ bedtime, which seems to giving me some much needed sleep, tho some evenings i am restless..............2nd neuro appt today @ 1.........I am going to ask for some prescriptions, just in case, tho i am hoping & praying my first bout with the Beast is over...........I want to once again thank all of you wonderful people for your support and much needed information............i NEVER could have done it without you...........................you are all appreciated more than you will ever know.................... I totally understand where you are coming from. I joined this site in Sept of last year when I came out of a four year remission. I started feeling better a few months later and dropped off, but the beast came back a few weeks ago and so did I and I've realized how much I've missed all the great people here. I'm sorry you've been in such pain and I hope you will have some relief soon ;-) |

Post by debOUCH on Mar 29th, 2008, 8:50am brewcrew, possibly you may be able to guide me on how to educate those who are not aware of what CH is..........i would say that @ least 1/2 of the people in my life, whether be friends or family, are very quick to dismiss and even after explaining a bit, giving them the OUCH description of a CH, are quick to dismiss,,,,,,,,,,,,,,my Winemaker told me yesterday it is probably PSYCHOSOMATIC!!!! [smiley=finger.gif] and also the instances with my nose ring is the cause, and i need a colon cleansing! I have even lost a a friendship with a woman who i THOUGHT was a good friend............thanks! deb |

They might mean well and by making suggestions within the scope of their experience they are probably really trying to help. Unfortunately they just end up trying your patients instead. I find it best to only discuss what is going on with those that either witness an attack or are likely to witness an attack. I'm not sure your Winemaker qualifies within that narrow definition. While it can be difficult to keep such a devistating condition to a small circle of those that are understanding and in a position to help but, in my experience at least, it is far less stressful. Some people just can't deal with the fact that there are problems for which there are no easy answers. -Dennis- |

[smiley=laugh.gif] i am a Tasting Room Mgr @ a Vineyard, and the Winemaker makes our wines..........i do refer to him as mine!! sure, come on out east!! i do have an awesome hook up!! brewcrew, i did make copies of that letter as soon as joined site........some peeps care, some dont...wateva .....dont care any more, dont need them..i guess in instances like this, you find out who has your back.................dennis....... my winemaker really should be aware, for if i do have a CH @ work, he may have to cover........my GM and Vineyard Mgr are extremely understanding, as well as my staff........and i spend most of my days there..............my children are aware, my good friends,.......... that is it.........i dont advertise, dont want sympathy, hell! dont need no one else if i have my fellow clusterheads on here , right!!!! it's all GOOD................................ I haven't been hit with ANYTHING since Thursday (on my third PF day) and I was looking for a guarantee. Are you getting hit every day again? Maybe it's just a gradual end - fingers crossed! I almost think it's worse emotionally to think it's over and have it come back - I mean, you would think the break would be better, but I'm not so sure. I was sort of in a routine of getting up, grabbing the ice, and rocking for 2-3 hours. But it's definitely a routine I want to be done with! Hoping this is a temporary setback. |
