Hey all. Know its been a while but I thought a poem might be able to brighten your day. I've been going through a bit of a rough patch so I've been writing a lot. This happens to be on of my better ones. I hope you like it. This one's called My Wings.

On wings of fire,
I shall fly.
And even in the worst of storm,
they will never die.
The flame empowered,
by my vision.
The wind strengthened,
by my dream.
And even in a nose dive,
I will not scream.
My wings will
set me free.
And help
me to sore.
When I get my wings
I'll forget the score.
On wings of fire,
I shall fly.

Glad you all liked it. This one unfortunatly isn't as light as the first but then again they can't all be. Times here are rough, as some of you know and I guess its gotta be let out some how. This one's called My Paints.

The yellow is my sun,
there's only a little of that.
Green is the grass
it reminds me of where I cried and sat.
Blue is the sky,
that never seems bright enough.
Purple is the dirty bruise,
from when times get tough.
Red is my pouring blood,
in a place where I don't want to look back,
All these colors run together,
and I end up with black.

It's been fully 24 hours since the first poem was posted and our good friend 'no-one' hasn't shown up to wax lyrical upon such beautiful writing.
