Title: Items for auction @ conv. needed. Post by Linda_Howell on May 4th, 2008, 1:26pm Every year the OUCH auction brings in money to help OUCH and every year people have donated many many items. Wisconsin cheese, shineys, mosaic ball, art work, etc. I will personally be contacting....(uh NO, I believe begging would be a better word) a lot of people to contribute to this years auction. As I get people to agree, I will post it here. The auction is also one of the many 'fun' events at the convention. If you have something you'd like to donate, Please post it here, so we can start making a list of the donated items. If you cannot attend the convention it can be a way for you to be a part of this annual event. Please Pm me for the address of where to send it, or if you want to bring it with you to Dallas that is fine too. Linda |

Title: Re: Items for auction @ conv. needed. Post by Gator on May 5th, 2008, 12:02am We have entertainment at each convention banquet and have no doubt that it is a lot of fun, but the commentary and the bidding wars at the auction can be down right hilarious. To see a bit of what an auction is like, check out this short montage from the 2006 auction (this does not cover all the items auctioned)... http://www.ouch-us.org/gatherings/milcon06/auction1.wmv and the Battle for the Shiney... http://www.ouch-us.org/gatherings/milcon06/shineywar.wmv You REALLY have to experience an OUCH convention. More 2006 convention video can be found here: http://www.ouch-us.org/gatherings/milcon06/video.htm Oh, yeah... Hey Donna! High Five!!! http://www.ouch-us.org/gatherings/milcon06/highfive-youdawoman.wmv |

Title: Re: Items for auction @ conv. needed. Post by Jonny on May 8th, 2008, 6:52pm Ok, the shiney is completed! 8) My camera is broke, but, I have this pic of an identical one I made a couple years ago. http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6da01b3127cce88849f66d95700000016108AZM2bNk5bM6 Seeing that I am now working 7 days a week and will be starting a huge job in June, I dont know if I will make it this year. So, I will need an address to send it...maybe I can send it to someone in Texas, so no one has to lug it there?.......Its the size of a candle pin bowling ball. Heres some trivia.....Can anyone tell me who I made these for years ago? http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b3d811b3127cce9fbec05da78300000016108AZM2bNk5bM6 http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b3d811b3127cce9fbec05a26b400000016108AZM2bNk5bM6 Ill give you a hint= SMOOOOCH! :-* |
