Title: 3 to 6 in 4…  by a doting GP
Post by Batch on Apr 30th, 2008, 12:55pm
No…  It’s not fuzzy math…  but there might be something in the water as my two sons, Keith & wife Lynn and Ryan & wife Laura have been in a grandbaby derby upping the head count in the latest Batcheller generation from 3 to 6 in the last 4 months creating a run on Smurf caps in the process.

Keith & Lynn presented us with twins, Jacob and Justine Batcheller for Christmas.  Both were six and a half pounders and over the minimum legal weight limit, so Keith & Lynn took the derby lead with the most keepers.

Not to be outdone, Ryan and Laura presented us with Master Alden Batcheller who weighed in at 9 lb 7 oz on arrival in mid April, so they took the prize for the largest keeper.

Ryan is 6’4” and Laura is 6’1” so Alden joins big brother Charlie in the land of the giants as Charlie weighed in at 9 lbs even when he arrived three years ago…

You can see a look of disbelief on Charlie’s face as he and girlfriend Elle listen intently to diaper changing procedures.  Charlie thought his diaper days were behind him…

Take care,

V/R, Batch

Awesome new Pete!  Great looking kids.  Though poor Charlie looks a bit shell shocked.

Caption: Ok, I held it.  Now how do I get rid of it.

Enjoy your ever expanding family...

Feeling like I ought to sleep
Spinning room is sinking deep
Searching for something to say
Waiting for the break of day
3 to 6 in 4

Congratulations, Pete!

Big Congrats to you and your family.

Mine seem to do it one at a time (thankfully!) but we're heading towards #11 this summer.

Enjoy those babies.

Sure Pete...rub it in!!! (Says Joe, waiting patiently for his beautiful daughters to wed and bring him grand children.)

They're beautiful Pete, you are allowed 5 minutes of unobstructed strutting!

I am the luckiest grandma in the world.  I married into two and was here for three and my girls have not even started to procreate yet.  We should be in grandchildren for a long time;)

A nice brace, and a singleton--way to go.

Great-looking kids.  Yer right--Charlie looks a little shell-shocked.   ;;D

Best wishes,
