Title: needing lots of prayers and ...update Post by Rosybabe on Apr 28th, 2008, 6:37pm My friends I know the miracles this place can do...I need your help one more time... My Granpa turned 90 on the 26th and my family had a big party for him but...He did not enjoy a bit of it because He is in a severe depresion... last night they took him to the hospital because he has not eaten or drunk anything in a couple of days... They are tube feeding him and I just tried to spoke to him on the phone, He says He is too old and too tired :'(, he does not feel like talking, he has his eyes closed all the time... The doctors are doing all sorts of test but they can find anything really wrong with him, He is just depresed.. Please, please I ask you guys for lots of prayers and vibes for him to get over this horrible situation.. He is the only father I know and I feel terrible because I can't run to be at his side right now :'( I will appreciate with all my heart your help... Thank you all :-* Rosy. |

Title: Re: needing lots of prayers and ...update Post by Rosybabe on Apr 29th, 2008, 4:11pm I just spoke to my Mom and she said the the urine test shows cristals and lost of sediments and the Doctors believe is a kidney infection and stones and maybe that is the reason why he feels so down... They started him with antibiotics and basically they are flushing him. They are keeping him with the tube feeding and the liquids. The Doctor believes in 3 days He will show improvement.. I really appreciate all your help my friends and please keep him in your prayers since the days ahead are extremely important ... He will undergo some others tests to be sure there is nothing else going on.. Thanks again and I will keep you posted about him... Love you guys!! :-* Rosy. |

He has had one UTI after another, and each time he becomes kind of "out of it", doesn't want to eat and sleeps a lot. He has diabetes and his sugar level gets way out of whack because of these infections. After a few days of antibiotics, he gets back to normal. Praying for Grampa. Donna H |
