Title: Ava will be 2 months old tomorrow... Post by Melissa on Apr 28th, 2008, 5:30pm Thought I'd post pics today because she has her 2 month check up is tomorrow and she'll be getting her shots. :( She's getting SO big! She must weigh 12 or 13lbs already. I just need to bite the bullet and cough up the money for it, even though I've tried to go cheaper. *sigh* Oh well! As Jesse says, it's only for a year! Hope you all enjoyed. :) |

At least you know why she has gas and how to stop it. I have had to evacuate into three rooms so far today to get away from my Dobie. Darned dog is like a big black cloud. I almost broke out my O2 but was afraid of the possible chance of an explosion if the tank came into contact with his canine flatulence. :P He eats the same food every day.....go figure? Sheesh. |

My daughter had to be on the expensive formula too until I finally took my mom's advice and went with a soy based formula, I believe it was Soyolac. Dipaers smell like....well...worse then they had but it completely ended the gas problem. Saved us a small fortune in fomula. Guiseppi Who is jealous and still waiting patiently for his daughters to get married and give him a beuatiful grand child like yours! ;) |

Jesse is going to CA for that weekend (he is trying to get me to go with him too) to see his brother at Camp Pendleton because they're sending him to Iraq in October. I'm so sorry! Well, Ava had her shots today. 5 of them! I couldn't stay and watch, so Eli and I waited outside the door while Jesse stayed with her. :'( I used to be strong when it came to such things, but now it just kills me! Ava's doing really well, she's gaining weight nicely and growing good. :) She weighs 11lbs 4oz (75th percentile), is 22.5" long (50th percentile) and she's got a good growing noggin (75th percentile). [smiley=grin2.gif] We have to go back in 2 months for another set of 5 shots plus Eli's getting his chickenpox vaccine! OMG I hate this! :'( |

Post by Rosybabe on Apr 29th, 2008, 4:44pm I understand Melly :'(, but I had to stay and watch the whole thing because my husband would not handle it, the first time he was there for the first shot he almost hit the nurse! He said the nurse deliverately hurt Mireille!...of course she did not, she was doing her job and it was painful and Mireille cried a lot, I had to make John leave the room....so I was the one holding my baby , I breastfed her as soon as the shot was over to comfort her and it worked, she stop crying inmediately.... give Ava a big kiss form me on her booboo :-* |
