He is going to be in a school play this a.m. He is starring as the "blue Lizard" 8) I'm going to see him in a bit and afterwards I'll be having a picnic lunch with him.

Wish him luck please, he is nervous (but refuses to admit it!)

I'm sure Sammie will do just fine.

Sammie, sometimes the best way to get over being nervous is to pretend that you're not--and if your voice gets shaky, talk louder. ;)

Besides--for a little while, you're going to BE a blue lizard, and I think blue lizards are invincible.

George is right , blue lizards do have special powers. I saw that on National GEographic. Have fun! Wish I could be there to cheer you on.

Such big fun for the kids.......and their parents :)

I remember how hard it was not to laugh at my boys....they were always so serious about their 'stage' careers..... :D

Thanks for all the goodluck voodoo everyone! Sorry it took me song to reply, it's nearly impossible to get online during the weekends.

Well he did great! He told me he didn't know the song he was supposed to sing prior to the play (This Land Is Your Land) but he sang it just fine during the play. He was so proud of himself, and rightfully so! A friend of mine went with me and between our two camera's I should have some good pics to share, as soon as I can get them online. I'll post them as soon as I can.
