ClusterCure Disclaimer

The following disclaimer has been placed on the OUCH website's Home Page. In addition, a letter has been drafted and sent to Mr. Falconi explaining that OUCH does not endorse his book and asking him to remove any reference to OUCH from his website, books, ect.

The website and book's title mislead the reader that a 'Cure' is provided in the pages of this book. It is known in the medical community that there is currently no known 'cure' for cluster headaches. We find that all currently available information on the 'treatments' of cluster headaches is available through 'free' information sites such as OUCH-US.org; Clusterheadaches.com, Cluster Headache Help and many others. We feel that individuals would waste their money in purchasing Falconi's book or any other book promising a cure for cluster headache.

Convention

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the convention this year. With Dr. Goadsby as the guest lecturer, it promises to be informative. We would prefer that everyone register and pay via postal mail, though, payment by credit card/paypal via the PayPal link is always available. If you are planning on going and paying at the convention, please let us know in advance so that we may have a more accurate idea of the number of people to plan for.

Newsletter

We are pleased that the newsletter is being enjoyed by so many. There have been more than 150 views in just the last few days. As a reminder, we are always on the lookout for articles, stories, etc for the newsletter. We are also currently seeking people to join the newsletter team.

Elections

The nominating Committee asks that persons interested in a leadership role with OUCH, please submit their Director Applications by May 15, 2008.

Don't be shy, folks. This is your organization, working for your benefit. We need your help to fulfill the mission and vision of OUCH.

I thought I might add this. While all of you are over on the OUCH site reading the news letter, why don't ya do what I did and hit that donation button and donate a few dollars. ;)
