Title: Re: a lil something for the claustrophobics Post by George_J on Apr 20th, 2008, 2:44pm I dunno.... Guy's got a lighter or matches if he's a smoker, so he maybe ought to be able to set off the fire alarm. That tends to draw some attention. It's like--what's the last resort if you're lost--starving--in the wilderness? Set the woods on fire. You'll get prosecuted, sued, blued, and tatooed...sure...but the helicopters will be there within an hour or so. 41 hours is plenty of time stuck in an elevator to channel one's inner MacGyver. I don't think we need to go everywhere with power tools--but there's got to be something he could have done besides try the same things over and over again like a gerbil. Maybe it's just me, but I think if you get yourself in a jam, you figure some way to get yourself out of it. Waiting to be rescued, bites. ;) Best, George |
