We are Christian but will be joining our son-in-laws family for First Seder tomorrow night.

Will be interesting to learn their customs.

The plate in the third picture is beautiful. What is it used for?
I hope you don't mind me asking but I'm always interested in learning more about other religions.

That looks like one of those plates for bitter herbs, for part of the Seder.

The Passover Seder Plate, Hebrew: ke'ara (קערה) is a special plate containing symbolic foods used by Jews during the Passover Seder. Each of the six items arranged on the plate has special significance to the retelling of the story of the Exodus from Egypt, which is the focus of this ritual meal.
