Never new blood pressure had a relation to pain.

http://www.newsmax.com/health/blood_pressure_migraine/2008/04/15/88001.html

My BP is low.  I know there isn't 100% corelation but I know many of us have low BP.

edit: to add I know it isn't about CH but there are similarities.

Interesting...I've heard of HBP giving people headaches, but not low.

Thanks for the link Dawg.

That is interesting.  My BP has always been on the low side.

Researchers say stiff arteries associated with high blood pressure may play a role in protecting against migraine

If the arteries are stiff, then they would, in therory, be less likely to dialate to the extent they do in CH.

Would make alot of sence.

Stiff??
There is a technique I use to lower my BP, but it only lasts about 2 minutes.

I have hypertension.  Right now I'm walking a tight rope with Verapamil trying to treat both high BP and my current cycle.

I know I've gone too high when "normal" headaches pop up.

I have also noticed that my bp spikes well in advance of a CH hit.  I monitor it every day since I started my new cycle and sometimes the hit shows on the BP monitor before I feel anything.

Yesterday I was 120/74 pain free and this morning I was 143/96 an hour before a hit.  If my bp falls into the 115/70 range I begin to get "regular" headaches.

I guess I'm not the guy they're talking about in the article  ;;D
