Well, now many people who may not agree with his views have access to his name, age, where he lives and what he does for a living. Something tells me he may now be looking over his shoulder a little more often since this story has been run.

It's that damned double edged sword of free speech......as annoying as he is...the soldiers he protests are fighting for the rights he is using...(abusing)......heaven help us if we start passing laws deciding what people can and can't say. I'd like to crush him like a bug for everything he stands for......but at the same time, I hope no one knee jerk passes a law saying he can't speak his piece. Kinda sucks. :-/

I understand what you're saying Joe. BUT...

There really has to be some limit. As a parent you pick your battles with your kids and let some things slide. The important things, you respectfully tell them that this or that is NOT allowed. PERIOD. I think it shouldbe the same with the first amendment and idiots like this.

You are not allowed to scream fire in a theatre unless it is on fire. I belong to the Patriot Guard Riders as does Tanner. The PGR provide escort and protection from creeps like these who feel like they have the right to spew their hatred at the funerals of fallen soldiers who are dying for their right to spit on their coffins. Sorry....that's jest messed up.

While I agree with your theory......my problem is WHO will be deciding what's acceptable. This political cycel it'll be Bush, Rush Limbaugh and Jerry Falwell, next cycle it'll be Obama, Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, or Hillary and her gang. I hate to say I don't always have faith n my elected officials..........it's one of the few areas Brewman and I are on exactly the same page!
