Title: Heres a stupid question..... Post by Jonny on Apr 4th, 2008, 10:57pm But, a very important question! If you were pulled over and the cops found an ounce of pot in your car would you be arrested? (law enforcement family members please chime in) You damn right you would be, and maybe even face jail time! Ok, I think we all agree on that, right? Now, can someone PLEASE tell me WTF is wrong with this video?......Please tell me! http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=bf7_1207321794 Are they brain dead?....or is it just me that thinks they are? >:( |

Title: Re: Heres a stupid question..... Post by Bob P on Apr 5th, 2008, 9:06am Dubya did it. The neocons grow the stuff, ship it here, make drug addicts out of our babies and the government looks the other way. There, took care of that for ya Charlie so you can relax. |

Title: Re: Heres a stupid question..... Post by Kevin_M on Apr 5th, 2008, 9:54am Reminds me of an excerpt from Keith Richards biography during the '75 tour. ...when the band arrived in New York in late May rumors abounded that the police of several cities were preparing to hassle Richards. It was not an easy thing to be in hostile territory while you were hooked on junk. ...on the night of his arrival, two large men banged on the door of his New York hotel suite. ..."identified themselves as FBI agents..." According to Richards, the men told him that the car manufacturer sponsoring the tour knew he was a herion addict and feared that if he was arrested the company would lose it's investment. Consequently, the explained that they would be supplying him with pharmaceutical heroin throughout the tour so that he wouldn't have to buy from anyone else. Apparently they were as good as their word and throughout the three-month tour Richards never had to worry about where his drugs were coming from. |

Title: Re: Heres a stupid question..... Post by kcopelin on Apr 5th, 2008, 11:32am Makes sense to me Potter...biggest cash crop in my neck of the woods-grown and harvested by visitors from the south (Mexico not Sacramento) armed with automatic weapons. This is a really schizophrenic state here-you can get medical marijuana from stores in the major cities, but it is still illegal according to the Feds. Wonder how much of the debt could be eliminated if marijuana production became a lawful taxable business. Not to mention how much money we would save by not housing, feeding and providing medical care to the inmates who are in prison. PFDAN y'all kathy |

Title: Re: Heres a stupid question..... Post by outofcommission on Apr 5th, 2008, 10:15pm it's hard to tax something you can grow in your back yard. think about all the major drug companies that keep it illegal. think about how many rx drugs, many of them with way worse side effects, would be obsolete if pot was legalized. |
