All those scary places people are sent to for screaming and worse surprises to knock us off the chair made me think about it. Fortunately, I don't seem to have the kind of seizure that is triggered by this.

People stink.  >:(

In respect for the Hacker community (http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/hacker-howto.html#what_is) the proper term for people like this is griefers, in which trolls are a subset.

I know the media lumps griefers, warez, script kiddies, and phishers under the term Hacker, but that doesn't make it right.

There are a few Hackers on this board and they would never do anything like this. If the board that was attacked had a Hacker administering it, these attacks probably would never have happened.

Hacker actually used to be a honorable title, but over the years has taken on a very negative connotation.  Now everyone that does something bad on a computer is labeled a hacker.

Whatever name you call these people, they are particularly disgusting because they not only hurt property, but intentionally hurt people as well.

OK there are some particularly nasty things I could suggest for these arseholes.

I have friends who are Hackers and damn good at it. but they would NEVER do anything like this to even try and be funny. Assuming that these arse-rags di dnot realize the harm they would cause, which I am sure they did.
