Because of the stress of 2007 and then getting the news of the move, as well as trying to eat healthier to regain some semblance of health in order to get the pituitary cyst/tumor taken care of, I have managed to lose a fair amount of weight.

When I IM'd Jacks (my 2nd Mom) she set me with a list of things to do and on that list was to go out and buy myself a new pair of jeans I have been wanting - actually the same ones my 14 year old wears ;) So now she wants me to post the pics of me. So here they are, for better or worse LOL.

Thanks everyone, now that I've blushed myself into a sunburn my cheeks are so red LOL.

It means alot to have the reinforcement from my family here. My eyes and smile have carried through my 'heavier' days, but being able to buy a pair of jeans the same as my daughter owns and from the same 'teen' store, really has given me the positive motivation to tackle what lay before me.

Amazing how the smallest of rewards can build you up high enough to take on the world.....and of course, without my second mom I"d be lost :)

Cat,

Although we have never met, I can tell you have a heart as pretty as your eyes and smile.

Be proud of your accomplishments and also that you are feeling so well. I'm sure it was hard work but well worth it.

Finding jeans that fit are always tough for me so I think we need to go shopping together (even though I hate shopping >:(. The jeans either fit in the waist but not thru the hips or they fit the hips and not in the waist....can you say frustrating? When I do finally find a style that fits, I will buy 4 - 5 pair of them so I won't have to go shopping for a looooong time.

Keep on smiling and blushing.....it's all well deserved.
