I'll bet the prosecutor  will not be able to raise enough evidence for a conviction.   ;;D ;;D ;;D  The poor old guy probably would just have to tell the judge all his shortcomings and he would be released. ;)

Have to hand it to the guy, he has spunk at 93!

Ok, it's official, I'm washed up.  

A 93 year old man gets more action than I do.  

Time to downsize to a twin bed and decorate my room with hand rails.  Trade in my heals for orthopedic shoes and invest in Depends... :'(

 That story makes me wonder why under-cover female cops would be "giving him the eye" and coming on to him, in the first place to trick him into soliciting them.

Personally I think they should give him a round of applause for being young at heart!

It makes me feel ashamed to be a Brit I can tell you. There is obviously far less crime over there than here that the police have to look for saucy nonagenerians to prosecute as you have so little other "more important" crime.  :o

Quite the contrary Helen!  The place is rampent with sex crazed nonagenarians...centurians too!  The streets aren't safe I tell you!  This is why we put our finest officers in blue (pantyhose) to go out and round up these scoundrals and throw the book at them (perhaps a depends or too as well) and lock them away for a good long time so they learn the error of their ways.::)

That happened to me once...I was so excited about being propositioned, I about burned up the motor on my scooter getting home for my Viagra.I took 12 of them and smoked some serious volts getting back...She was gone !!! Hence, my User name.

I think you're all missing the moral of the story here... There is a lot to be learned from a 93 year old pervert...
When picking up a prostitute, negotiate a price upfront and then promise to come back a few hours later to consummate the deal. They can't charge you because they can't prove you actually planned to come back.

With age comes wisdom.
If it was me I'd plead "GUILTY" and demand an extended prison sentence. Free room and board, medical care and funeral expenses beats living in a nursing home. In addition, my fellow inmates would surely admire me.

I was more concerned that these 92-93 years olds are still driving on the roads ! They can do a lot more damages with their wheels than with their .... err... you know what !  8)

Especially when their eyes werent kept on the roads but wandering the sidewalks looking for buxom women   ::)

They stand there and look pretty. If she offers sex for money, it's entrapment, illegal. The male must request a specific sex act, and offer money in return. It's all tape recorded. So if any of your friends ever tell you it was all a "big mis-understanding!!!"...they are lying to you!!

So yes, they dress sexy, and yes they eye the men! If the men hit on them, it's perfectly legal.......but as soon as it's money for this or that...then they get arrested!

By no means am I taking a stand for or against the prosecution of victimless crimes. Please remember, the people we elect make the laws, the police are required to enforce them!

That's it....Recession will be over.  Unlock the doors to the homes and let all the aging population out on the streets using the wheel chair ramps and other help provided and have them spending their saving on the "company" of younger companions.  Why haven't any of the Presidential candidates thought of this yet?

With the aging population.....yikes!  The coffers will be overflowing.  Especially if they can tax the escorts.

I did read the comments!  They were hysterical!

This, folks, is Manatee County, FL.  I hope I don't offend any of you, but the government in this county is anal retentive!

I have dealt with them on issues other than prostitution, and found that they are a bunch of bean counters, holier than thou believers, rigid in their ordinances (leaving not one centimeter of space saying "maybe we could adjust slighly, given the circumstances").  

So they are prosecuting two 93 year old men.

I say,  GO GUYS!  Have a ball while it lasts.
