The mail came today here at the office, and on my desk I was a small envelope. A thank you card from a non-profit customer, the Noon Lions Club, thanking me for taking care of laying out an ad for them with SOOOOO much info and a very small space to make it all look good.

Then last week I was having issues with the print facility over a commercial print and insert job for a different customer that was to run today. Let me just say that the arguements and emails and phone calls came right down to the wire, and people were getting pissed they said what I was telling them to do couldn't be done. Well for jimminy sakes it's been done hundreds of times...scale down the copy proportionately to the space alloted and float within the margins. I jumped through hoops, contacted a department that wasn't even involved with this project to get the job done, with about 20 minutes to spare before the press was to run on this job.

So now I have THE most lovely Iris/roses. and pansy arrangement delivered to me. The card reads:

Thank you for all your hard work!!

It's always nice to be recognized for the work you've done. I'm glad that the customer took the time to acknowledge your hard work.
