So we will have it with the boys-tomorrow…..
with all the goodies….. after B/F….. but we will not
go to the Sinagog (I still have the flu)

I had to look them up Eric, you know me!

I'm still taken with the sufganiyot (sp?) that you posted about before! I love hearing about different foods and cultural associations. It's one thing I truly love about the internet, it makes the world more accessible and when we invite information into our homes via the internet we're more amenable to it. Who knows? Maybe THIS is how we'll combat prejudice for once and for all - gastronomically!

I have just looked it up and learnt another new thing to-day.

I too love the internet  and the information that is just sitting at the end of the keys.

I wish I had had this thirst to know things when I was at school.

Here's one I didn't know....

the saying "Eat, Drink and be Merry" is actually mandatory and was written in the Talmud not an Irish pub that I used to imbibe in ;)

I always knew it was the ISH not Irish or Jewish but the ISH that made my liver strong ;;D
