Title: Re: No Way I Could Do This.. Post by cynjeep89 on Mar 19th, 2008, 8:53pm Oh heck no!!! I almost got a nose bleed watching that video. Mountains/cliffs are for billy goats, Heidi and observing from afar.....period!! John and I went to the autumn festival at Hunter Mountain in NY State a few years ago and he thought it would be "fun" to take a ride on the chair lift. I thought I could get over my fear of heights so I agreed to join him. About 15 feet into the air, I thought I was gonna die. When we got to the top of the mountain, John asked me if I wanted to get off of the chair lift to "compose" myself and I replied that if I got off of the chair, there was no way he could get me back into it to head back down the mountain. My fingers were wrapped so tightly around the chair bar that I thought they were going to dig into the metal. I spent a lot of time in the lodge bar later that day.....the shooters and Heinekens were very, very good. |

Title: Re: No Way I Could Do This.. Post by Jonny on Mar 19th, 2008, 9:22pm When I was 12 years old I was jumping off a 100 foot cliff into water over 300 feet deep with not a worry in my mind, had to even swim almost a quater mile just get out of the quarry after landing. Now, seeing that I am the youngest dude at my shop....I am the one that has to climb the 20 foot high staging to change the light bulbs, can you say "fuck me im going to die falling" Man, I miss being young thinking im superman! ;) |
