Darn it when it rains it pours. The air condition won't work.
Could the hail storm have done that? I took pictures of the dents in the air. I really did not think that would effect it.

Just remember that there are folks who can't complaine because they don't have these luxuries, and never have...

I know I bitch about crazy stuff, and we all need to vent, but then after that vent, we need to get back to real life and get moving forward.

Oh I don't know Elaine - sometimes crying DOES help! It shifts the frustration and leaves determination and then heaven help anyone who get's in your way!

I hear you Elaine....Saturday afternoon, I'm taking a looong hot shower in the upstairs bathroom, relaxing in the warm water, life is good, :) my wife comes upstairs and says water is pouring out of the ceiling.......... :'( Joe cry...........who cares if it helps or not it makes ya feel better!

Thanks everyone! We are smiling still so far.

The air condition people came out today. We are getting a new air condition. The storm did not hurt it. He said the unit was shot. I been wanting a new unit this one is to small for the house. Plus they said my intake is not big enough. They are going to put in two. So the whole house will cool. We have had trouble with the back of the house cooling. The bad news is not sure how long it will take before they put it in. Just pray it stays cool. That adrenal mass I have makes me hot (weather wise) I can not take the heat, it makes me sick. I can't handle the weather when its over 65 degrees. Plus heat triggers my clusters.

The insurance adjuster will be here Thursday on the house. I will know when he comes if I will cry or smile.
I got figures on what the siding will be and a new roof.
I have not heard from the insurance on the camper yet.

I feel better today. If the heat gets to bad I will buy a window unit to get by on.

We were just told how much its going to cost us.
$5800 They are going to have to put a extra intake in the house. We are getting a Trane. We hope !

Elaine,
You should be good to go on the temps. In fact, it's supposed to turn off cooler after this front comes on through (bad news is bad weather in front of the cooler weather). They should be able to get you one pretty quick and installing it won't take that long (we just had a new one installed last fall).

Oh, we're not having any trouble, Elaine. It's just that the outside temperature has to hit 60 before you can test it.

It was my way of saying "I'M FREEZING MY ASS OFF HERE!" ;;D

Now, if you had said "furnace," that would be different. ;;D

When did prices like this began? Yikes.

If you really want to get mad, Elaine, my full house air conditioner was installed in July of 1969. It's never been fixed and has always worked just fine.....It's a Lennox...thought you people would like to know.

I should call Lennox and offer to do a commericial if they would give me a new furnace.
