My mother is Irish from County Galway and back living there now - in fact I'm the only member of my family (apart from my kids) left in England!

We'll definitely be celebrating St Patricks Day on Monday, I just wish the bloody English celebrated St Georges Day even tohugh I'll be in hospital then ::) (Pretty apt really considering I'm a dragon)

well St. Patrick's day has been moved to march 15 th because this year the 17th falls during Holly week so the day to celebrate will be tomorrow :)

St Patrick's day is a catholic festivity and since this year the day falls during the holy week and there are not supposed to be any masses for any saint during that week all the festivities for this saint and any other saint should be move, in this case, to the 15th. This has only happened once before and that was many years ago.
