Had to wait until they were ready to open to get decent pics. http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b8dd30b3127cceb6b1906958e400000026108AZM2bNk5bM6 http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b8dd30b3127cceb6b1905758da00000026108AZM2bNk5bM6 http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b8dd30b3127cceb6b19056d9eb00000026108AZM2bNk5bM6 http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b8dd30b3127cceb6b1905cd9e100000026108AZM2bNk5bM6 http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b8dd30b3127cceb6b19068d9d500000026108AZM2bNk5bM6 The job was so big that I have 53 pics of it, but I think you can get a feel for it with just a few pic.....LOL [smiley=grin2.gif] |

Title: Re: Mariott hotel Boston Post by kayarr on Mar 11th, 2008, 5:36pm Jonny, Wow! How long did that take? That is a lot of work and I didn't see all of it! How would you bid something like that? Are the raw materials as price volatile as everything else? Do you have a huge back log of materials? (so many questions...lol) It's stunning! |

Title: Re: Mariott hotel Boston Post by echo on Mar 11th, 2008, 5:39pm Very Nice. That is exactly the type of rails and glass we want at our lake home, plus the spiral staircase. Once I get the arch. drawings I see a trip to the Boston area to pick up our jonny made loft access system to get them installed during construction. Very cool!!!!! |

How do you join them ? Are they stainless steel as in surgical stainless steel ? Did you do all the measuring too ? LOL ! Me also have heaps of questions .... :) |

The joints are welded and finished on the jobsite. Its a lesser grade of stainless than surgical because it will not be getting wet, so there is low risk of rusting. I work from blue prints, but not all measurments on them are right....so that causes headaches all around....LOL |

Enjoyable, for if there ever is an unhurried pace for business life, also. Yeah, the carpet is colorful. Looks like a Dali psychedelic drunk slinky orgy. |
