Title: Getting my MBA
Post by chewy on Mar 10th, 2008, 9:59pm
Not sure what route to travel. I work to many hours for night school. Just to tired.

Has anyone here gotten a legitimate degree through an on line University or online courses?

Don't have a clue how your university structures work but want to wish you good luck.

My niece did a lot of her university degree in on-line and satellite classes as the university was too far from where she lived.

I had a good friend who did his MBA on line at RIT . He was very happy with it.

I did most of my graduate work on line at Shenadoah. They sent lots of books and videos and I just did the work and mailed it back. Not alot of professor contact but it kept my credentials updated for teaching. Good luck with your search!

Just found this site, lists different places.

There's this "distance program" too.

UMass in Lowell and Amherst have a distance program, per BusinessWeek magazine, a little about it all.

Here's Lowell:

Amherst:

No doubt with all of the universities in Beantown there has to be some programs to accomodate the elderly ;)

Seriously though, many schools offer programs online that are completely legit.

you just want to make sure that it is accredited.
Some programs require some in person appearances.

Good luck and good 4 u

Why not take a cue from your Vegas friends...

quit your job and strip your way through school.

and here I was thinking you had misspelled NBA.

Go for it!  I would think there are plenty of accredited online schools in your area.  Good luck finding an institution that fits your needs.

You are going into the NBA?  Your avatar doesn't do justice to your height...lol!

Go for it!  I hear you will never regret continuing education.  Something very empowering.

Our good friend Ueli might be a good resource. I've only once ever known him to be wrong.
