Ya'll just ain't gonna believe this one.....

IT'S SNOWING HERE AT RED HILL.. right now we've got about 3 inches and it's coming down so hard I can't see the edge of my porch and it doesn't look like it's letting up anytime soon.

I can't remember the LAST time I SAW snow like this - and it's sticking to the ground....

You kids up north may be used to this, but we sure aren't here in the south. It was 60 degrees yesterday.

Think this is going to be a sit in the house and drink hot chocolate day.....

Carolyn - how's things down in your parts?

Barb - thanks so much for your generosity in sending that storm our way!!!! ;) We are expecting about 30 cm. of snow over the next 36 hours and they've told us that it's coming to us courtesy of the great state of Texas!!! They actually showed your airport on our morning news!

Lord, I don't know where we're going to pile any more of this crap!!

The last time I saw snow in MARCH was in Denver and it was a freak blizzard.

Sorry Carol, but we just can't handle it down here. Everything shuts down if it gets below freezing and to have snow if a BIG deal. We're just now geared up for it.

Nothing yet. Although they say it's a coming! I was supposed to head up to Crossett AR today, but don't think I'm going to make it. Not sure when this is supposed to hit here, but I'd hate to be crossing the Ouachita River bridge up there on Hwy 82!

I can't wait! Maybe I'll get some pictures of my daffodils poking their *heads* through the snow ;;D

Wants so very bad to have enough snow to actually play in.

Well, I've got a Winter Wonderland up here... and it's still coming down. The dogs have had about all they can enjoy. They're in the house now taking a nice "warm" nap. The cats have hibernated in the barn. Don't think any of them know what to think about things.

Can't even see the daffodills right now -- think they're taking a nap too....

Here in Ohio it's snowing like the dickens.

We're due for up to 12" of the white stuff by tomorrow.

Ummm....80 yesterday...only mid seventies today....but it was really cold in the house this morning! ::)

San Diego only has 2 seasons, summer...it rains 2 days...then it's summer again!

We had 12 more inches Monday! I know it's nothing compared to what my Northern brothers and sisters have had to deal with but this is the worst winter we've had here in quite a while and I'm sick of it.

We got 8-10 inches Wednesday and were forcasted more but heard this morning it's staying south, in Ohio this time, not much expected here.

Ahhh. So far about 14 inches of snow, very wet snow and more on the way. I love it. It's supposed to snow all weekend.

We got a little bit. I had to run work a store yesterday and it snowed like the dickens. Snowed so hard at times, it was close to a whiteout. Oh, how I wish that I'd had my camera with me. Lake Darbonne looked awesome, what with mist rising on the lake and then a snow storm! Alas, it was back at the house though. People went friggin' nuts, thought they were going to clear the shelves at wallyworld.

The snow quit by mid-afternoon. We got up this morning and it had snowed a little more. Took a few pics from my front porch and out my back door.

I think I got myself in trouble last night.

EJ's sister lives in Cleveland. She called EJ to let her know that she was doing okay despite the massive snowfall they'd had.

Massive. Why--the snow was clear up to her hips!

"Oh wow," says EJ, "You mean you got three feet of snow?"

"In Margaret's case," I piped up, "I think that means they got a foot and a half of snow."

I really need to learn to keep my mouth shut. :-X
