Well it's Mothers Day today in the UK so I'd like to wish a happy Mothers day to all of you. I hope you're being thoroughly spoilt! I have had cards and a plant from my kids and some hand picked daffodils (am NOT asking where they were picked from!) I also got a box of chocolates but I'm sure I'll have help eating those! ;;D

I know it's supposed to be the kids cooking today but I want to live so I am and I've invited my neighbour and her kids too so we're having Roast Chicken with Yorkshire puddings, roast and mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, Roast parsnips, cauliflower cheese, bread sauce - all the usual suspects! I've made a couple of huge  rhubarb crumbles and custard too so if anyone wants some - shout!

Happy Mother's Day, Helen.  If you do the cooking, let them clean up and then spoil you in every other way.  Just being around people who care about you makes for a great day.
I'm jealous that you have rhubarb to cook with already.  I'll trade you for some pumpkin.  ;)

It's no coincidence in my eyes that (here) mothers day is exactly nine months after Fathers Day - ask Melly  ;)

Happy Mothers day to one and all

I have had a really wonderful day.  Josie and her partner (a Chef) made Scones with Jersey clotted cream Barm Brack , sponge cakes and cup cakes etc and we had a cream tea lunch . it was scrummy .

My Mum , Me and Josie made 3 mums altogeather, we were all spoiled rotten with gifts etc. Then later this afternoon Rob had to work so Kirsty and I went to see the new film " The Bucket List" it was a bit of a weepy but very good.

And now in one hour it is time for LOST, it cannot get better than that.
