I's jus' messin' with ya. We're waiting to hear from Roy, who is at work right now, as to whether his girlfriend can join us for dinner at a neat little east side cafe (where the food is actually healthy).

But just for the record, Girl Scout cookies are DELICIOUS!

Your dinner sounded great, sorry about the cold shoulder though. :P
What's on your menu for today's race in Vegas? We are doing the same as Daytona, finger foods on the counter and you are on your own as soon as the green flag waves! [smiley=grin2.gif]

Tonight it will be Swedish meatballs over buttered egg noodles. It was going to be New York Strips, twice baked potatoes, and vegetable, but the grill is still stuck in the snow and ice bank.

Well plans last night got changed as the solo Ensamble kids were in the mood for steaks, so it ended up last night as tenderloins grilled rare/med rare.

I roasted the shoulder roast tonight.  7 boneless lbs of shoulder roast, onions and mushrooms,  seasoned fried potatos, and green beans.

The teens had seconds, so if there is 2 thin slices left I'd be suprised.

Wow...Great dinner.  DJ (Dominique) had three plates full.

She wants to come over and watch me cook and learn some things.  Sure thing...anytime.

Something tells me Dyl's got himself a keeper.

Steak on the Bar-B   corn on the cob and rice pilaf.  It's 80 degrees so we've broke out the grill.

Oooops. I forgot.  Brewcrew told me to NOT give a weather report for California ever again.   ;;D

We broke out the grill last night, too, Linda. The feet were frozen into an ice puddle, so I had to pour salt around it and wait for an hour before I could get it out.

We cooked bratwurst on it and had some great parmasean peppercorn pasta salad with it.

80 degrees before you break out the grill? :o I can tell you from personal experience, it doesn't work very well below -10.
