Your mother has a second family that I hope someday you will get to meet.  She is very important to all of us and we love her a lot.  We have followed her pregnancy with you from the start and now today on Feb. 29th. you are here and healthy and we are all so happy for your "first"  family.

A true Leader! Not to be wanting, and always part of our Family. If she will be anything like her mother she will be a great woman of vision.  Welcome Little Ava!

God mad a child to be brought forth to many, through one. She will be known as Ava. She will be filled with peace, kindness, and love.

Mike

Written at 9:07 am on the day you where born.

Peaceful Surrender

Parts of the whole some will not see,
A start to the finish some cannot be.

Night time sneaks in as day light surrenders,
such violence in beauty such a peaceful surrender.

To seek torture and pain to you may be strange,
Following love after hate to others deranged.

Daylight takes over as night fights to stay.
No beauty in battle such a peaceful surrender.

A new life in the midst of all this hatred and pain,
Proof there is beauty that some still can see.

Total eclipse on a bright sunny day,
all stop in awe and peaceful surrender.

Happy Birthday Ava,  Welcome to the world.  We've been reading about you for 9 months now, and watching you grow through pictures your mommy has shared with us all.

I'm sure that someday in the future we'll all get to meet you at a get together.

And I thought that I came from a large family. Ava, we really think a lot of your mom. You are being born with two great parents. Your mom was not always old and cranky. She used to be young and beautiful and actually was pretty cool. ::)

(Did you get her dimples)?

Love Uncle Jimi and Auntie Ruthie.

Welcome Fred Ava!  Your mom was sure you would be a girl but I had a funny feeling . . . so I get to call you Fred until I meet you.  And don't let anyone call you Evita - it's bad luck (learn your history to find out who I'm talking about)!

Welcome to the land of all the cheese, milk, sausage, and corn you can ever eat.  You were born during the 10th snowiest winter on record.  It won't always be this snowy and white.  In about 6 weeks we have one day that's perfect and then it gets really hot for awhile.  And then it snows again. . . . I suggest you move out of Wisconsin as soon as you are able - or at least move down here near us.

May your life be blessed with all the happiness you can handle.

Auntie Wench, Uncle Brew, and Cousin Juniorbrew

Dear Ava, you name means for some "like a bird' and for others is "to live". Either way it is a beautiful meaning because to live like a bird means to be free and happy. To be able to follow your dreams and become what you want to be in life.

We followed your Mom and you during your special time of  patience waiting. We shared her happiness and her worries and we imagined your little face and your footsies too.

You are a very loved baby and you have a very big family too. You are special because not many babies get to have uncles and aunts from all over the world and we love you and care about you without ever seeing you.

I pray the sweet Lord for lots of blessings for you and your Mom and Dad and your siblings. They are so thrill to have you here finally!

Welcome to the world Ava!!

Sunday's child is full of grace,
Monday's child is full in the face,
Tuesday's child is solemn and sad,
Wednesday's child is merry and glad,
Thursday's child is inclined to thieving,
Friday's child is free in giving,
And Saturday's child works hard for a living.

Happy Birthday, Ava and welcome to the world!!  I had a feeling you were going to be born today, even though I didn't take part in the bet for what day you would be gracing us with your presence!!  Of course only a special baby like you would be born on such a special and rare day!

I concur with what has already been said - and especially that you have a whole extended family here who have never even met you and love you very very much.  Be good to your mommy.  She's one strong, special lady, and she has been very much anticipating your arrival!

Can't wait to "meet" you in pictures and stories!

Love,
Aunt Carrie :)

To a sweet girl born to some of the greatest people I know.

Welcome Baby Ava
Hello little pretty one.
Open up your eyes.
The world is waiting.
It's a big suprise.
Your momma and dad,
smile down at you.
They're just so proud.
And will be in whatever you do.
This is your special day!
Its your time to shine.
We're all behind you,
and know you'll do just fine.
So come on little girl,
Stand up! Take a bow!
Your life has just begun.
Love your life now.
Welcome little girl.
We'll see you real soon.
And watch you reach for the stars,
Don't ever settle for the moon.
Welcome to the world baby Ava.
You are loved.

“Love is patient; love is kind
and envies no one.
Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude;
never selfish, not quick to take offense.
There is nothing love cannot face;
there is no limit to its faith,
its hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things
that last forever: faith, hope, and love;
but the greatest of them all is love.”
