Title: Re: Just a few pictures Post by George_J on Feb 26th, 2008, 10:06am I like the photos at Moon Lake. They remind me that--at the end of a very long winter in the city (well, Boise, anyway)--I really, really need to hit the dirt roads and disappear into the boondocks for a few days. Go bush. As for brotherly love, at our house such public displays of affection among cats usually go like this: "Ah....I see you are napping. Perhaps I shall join you. Do you know I think you are the loveliest of cats? Yes. You are my precious. Yes indeed. May I lick your head? It is very nice to lick your head, and I see that you enjoy it. Yesh...schlup, schlurp....licking your head. Now, if I may, I shall clamp both paws with claws exposed on either side of your lovely head, and I shall BITE your ear with just the smallest of bites...." And then the fur flies, and so forth. Such PDA's are generally short-lived, and end badly. Best, George |

You know, it's funny, the boys (litter mates) and the girls (litter mates, but half siblings to the boys) do this to their litter mates, but if it's between the boy (s) girl (s), it's all out war. She's made it as a keepsake for him. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v123/tribander_3/Quilt%20show%202008/IMG_1312.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v123/tribander_3/Quilt%20show%202008/IMG_1313.jpg |

Title: Re: Just a few pictures Post by cash5542 on Feb 27th, 2008, 9:59pm I love the sunsets, so beautiful. I especially like the optical illusions in the quilt. It looks like it's moving. Such contrast in the Amish quilts I fell in love with while Lisa was in Lancaster. Thanks for sharing! Charlotte |
