You won't lack things to do in Barcelona.

Walk that main drag "Las Ramblas" to the ocean in the evenings.  Lots to see there.

Walk the old section of town, Bari Gothic, and visit the Picasso Museum.

Head to the north side and visit Gaudi Park (Parc Guell) and his unfinished cathedral (Sergrada Familia).

For a day trip, take the train to Montserrat:

The tram ride to the monestary is great.  Try to catch the boys choir while there and walk the bluff out to shere they found the Black Madonna.

You can also spend the good part of a day walking Montjuic (Mount of the Jew).  See the Magic Fountain there in the evenings.

Yorky,
Happy Birthday! :)

Barcelona is great city to visit.

Las Ramblas is a must, absolutely!
I can also warmly recommend that you'll visit the harbour: Barcelona's aquarium and shopping centre called Maremagnum are located in there, right next to each other.

while you are in Montjuic go and have a delicious dinner and the best views of the city in  Montjuic El Xalec Restaurant, the catalan food is to die for, tapas are a requirement since thay allow you to try different dishes and a good wine and you can also check out the Miro foundation, a nice modern art museum that is in the same area. Enjoy your trip and Happy birthday Yorky!!

Hola Yorky, wellcome to Spain. I believe you go to Barcelona airport and directly to Lloret de Mar

http://www.lloretdemar.org/

it's is Girona province, the last one on the northeast before France, but if you have some time in Barcelona of course go to Guell Park (Gaudi)

http://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.com/en/gaudi/park-guell.html

I hope you enjoy your time here and "Feliz Cumpleanyos".
Saludos
