Title: Ralph's hat is in the ring... Post by Paul98 on Feb 24th, 2008, 6:19pm Man, I have to hand it to that guy. He tries. I don't like the guy much but I do think he does have a point about the two parties being in the corporate pocket. Right now I don't think the GOP has a chance....I don't think they want a chance. LOL. -P. |

Title: Re: Ross's hat is in the ring... Post by brewcrew on Feb 24th, 2008, 7:48pm I think he might have meant Ralphie. In which case it's only bad for the far left wing of the Democrat party. |

Title: Re: Ross's hat is in the ring... Post by E-Double on Feb 24th, 2008, 7:54pm That guy is so "GREEN" and far to the left that he is reaching the far right. I swear you'll never ever see me enter political threads or debates. I'm a registered Democrat (not a liberal) but would have no problem voting for a Republican (not a conservative) if he presented with moderate views and plans. Many feel moderate means waffler, I disagree and will not go further than truly believe in balance. That being said OMFG Nader.....might as well have one of the hardcore evangelists enter so they can win and take over. Oh boy |

Title: Re: Ross's hat is in the ring... Post by brewcrew on Feb 24th, 2008, 8:01pm Everybody always poo-poos gridlock in Washington. I celebrate it. It usually means nothing gets done, which then means tax dollars don't get spent on bullshit. I'm for whoever advocates nothing. The do-nothing candidate. |

Thank you Brew for pointing out that I was up on stage with my pants down! Duhhhhh. I see spoiler and think of Ross. Ingrained in my brain I guess. My bad. Anyhoo, the left of the isle will be wringing the hands over this one. Hillary is history unless she can um...provide a different outcome to the primaries. ::) -P. (who has more to think about than he should talk about) ;) |

Title: Re: Ralph's hat is in the ring... Post by BarbaraD on Feb 25th, 2008, 12:25pm The pundants are criticizing Hillary for her sacarasm about Obamba's "silver linings" and "happy endings", but I thought it was hillarious. So far he hasn't said anything worth while. And McCain is just saying more of the same old thing. I'm for outlawing lobbyists totally and putting WORK back in politics. Wish someone would ask the question - How much do YOU pay for YOUR medical insurance and just what does it pay (80% like medicare?) and what is YOUR co-pay on RX's? Do you have to be PRE-approved BEFORE you can get treated? Wonder if ANY of the candidates would have an answer to THOSE questions? Hugs BD |

Title: Re: Ralph's hat is in the ring... Post by outofcommission on Feb 26th, 2008, 1:13am i am sick of both parties >:( you got two choices. shit sandwich or douche bag. well i know what your going to say. you don't really like douche bag, but a shit sandwich is just too hard to swallow. i am totally with you guys on that. i don't like a shit sandwich either but right now we're forced to eat one. i'm tired of voting for the lesser of the two evils. i'm writing in nader when i vote. i think i like nader because both parties hate him. niether party will debate him either. he doesn't have million of dollars of big business money to back him. he might be a little extreme but this country is extremely messed up right now. thats my political view in a nutshell. take it for what its worth. i'm just a guy who drives a truck. also kind of sick of seeing hillary's face everywhere too. Title: Re: Ralph's hat is in the ring... Post by BarbaraD on Feb 26th, 2008, 5:09am Hey seriously guys ... has anyone read Hillary's proposed Health care plan? I actually went to her website and read the darn thing. It's GOOD!!! Never thought I'd hear myself type that but it really is. Before you listen to much more of the stuff they're spouting off on TV, go read it for yourself. Maybe if she'd had a chance back in '91 to get something like this passed (and she tried) we might have a little better health care now. Go to her website and read it and then think about it the next time you have to fight your insurance company or try to get your meds. Course right now I'm hitting on a Kip 5 shadow and heath care seems to be a priority with me at this moment in time. Hugs BD |

You know what? That's what a conservative used to be.......me too for most of my life. That Libertarian edge of the GOP has been all but purged and now it's full of people explaining that we are a bunch of heathens and by God, we'll make you do what we say that Jesus would do or we'll kick your ass. It's depressing. Charlie |
