I've been working from home all week and I'm still running a fever. I slept on the couch because I can't breath when I lay down. My Son Casey had to cancel a trip to see a friend in SC. The first ones to get it three weeks ago are still sniffling but seem to be mending finally. This include my wife Andrea. Casey and I were the last hold outs ;) You are in good company Donna. [smiley=hug.gif] The flu I had during Christmas time lasted about 3 weeks. For some reason, mine usually do. I probably don't rest as much as I should, so don't do that mistake! Warm chicken soup with garlic, lots of fresh orange juice/vitamin c in other forms, lots of rest... those are my tips. I hear that hot water with some lemon juice and honey does wonders as well and a friend of mine always carries chopped garlic with her - she keeps the garlic pieces inside a small piece of fabric. Accoding to her, doing that shortens the length of any flu. Healing wishes, Sanna |

Several of the teachers are out. They seem to stay home to deal with their own little ones then get hit themselves. I feel like a walking sponge, waiting for it to come but wash my hands so much that they feel like sandpaper. Our music teacher just went to the doctor yesterday and has pnemonia as well as the flu. Doctors orders were lots of rest and fluids (and a ton of meds) to make it go away. Get well soon, whenever that may be! Charlotte |

She lives close to us so we are keeping a close eye on her. Hope any of you that have this virus recover quickly. Seems like a bad year for the flu.
