Title: oxygen use Post by swhitmanp on Feb 21st, 2008, 5:08pm question: I have one of those oxygen producing machines that you just plug into the wall outlet but I do not have the mask which covers the nose and mouth so I simply put the tubing into my mouth and take deep breaths. Is this OK? Also I was wondering if anyone knows why the physician required a drug screening(at least in my case) before prescribing me the oxygen :-/ and does anyone know if Imitrex is available across the boarder cheaper? |

Title: Re: oxygen use Post by kimh on Feb 21st, 2008, 6:05pm on the links at the left, check out oxygen info and it'll show ya exactly what is the best way to use oxygen :) as to why the doc required drug screening, i don't know :-/ a lot of docs seem reluctant to go this route. I had a heck of a time initially convincing my doc to give me a perscription for o2. He was more than happy to perscribe me every damn drug under the sun, but got all weird about the o2. I had to push it hard. best of luck and pain free wishes*** |
