There is a full lunar eclipse tonight!! :)
On the East Coast it starts at 10pm.
Here's some more info and you can look up your time.
(the next full lunar eclipse will be in Dec 2110)

Tonight, when we are all up in the middle of the night, there will be something to look at :)

OOPS! You all are right(obviously..lol)......The total eclipse is at ten..the whole thing starts before.

The eclipse has started in the midwest. It started at 7:43 pm central time, and gets over at 11:09 central time.

It looks cool, but it's coooold outside. I'll try to get some pics when more of it is covered.

It is 6:45 on the West Coast and I just went outside and the eclipse is marlvelous here. Eerie...but marvelous.

it is overcast here in Houston, I can't even find the moon in the sky, just a bunch of clouds :(

Rats. Not chance back here. Overcast is all we know lately. I nearly forgot that there stars out there :(

I got to see about 1 minute of it-no time to get out the telescope (still packed up somewhere) but used binoculars...awesome! ran in to tell the guys to come look and by the time they got outside the clouds were covering it. Guess I yelled "lunar ecplise" just loud enough though-al our neighbors were out looking for it ::)

p.s. also watched the shuttle landing (on TV) incredible.

We had very clear skies here last night. Took a couple pics with a regular digital camera and the moon looks like a red dot.

Next lunar eclipse Dec. 21, 2010.
