This is posted on the OUCH Business Board and on the ch.com Dallas 2008 board, but I thought I'd better post it here as well. There are also several other threads on both boards that need the attention of anyone going to convention this year. Please give them a look and help us gather the information we need to make this a great convention. Looking forward to seeing you all in July!!!

OUCH is please to announce that the convention hotel is:

The room rate is $115 per night and includes:

Currently, you can only reserve a King Non-Smoking via the web. For other room arrangements, please call 1-972-313-8001. We are working on getting this corrected and will post an update as soon as that happens.

Close to A LOT of stuff this year. Malls, theme parks, golf courses, etc.

With Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor just a few miles away, this could double as a great family vacation for people with kids. Six flags is fun if you have kids (even if you don't LOL) and the water park will be a welcome break from the heat.

Should prove to be a great time for all who attend.

I know I probably just missed it but I cannot find the actual date of the convention anywhere.

If you check out the Dallas 2008 board here on the site, you'll see it's for July 11 to 13, 2008

No typo, Linda. I guess the hotel only uses three letter codes. OUC is what they gave us. The web link goes straight to a special hotel registration page they created for OUCH.

Trolls do not come to conventions Steve. They hide behind keyboards and wouldn't dare show their faces. Kinda like terrorists in the black ski masks.
