Title: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe Post by Melissa on Feb 10th, 2008, 9:35am I wanted to share a couple of pictures my brother-in-law Mike took on his weekend trip to Victoria Falls. He is currently stationed in South Africa as an Embassy guard for the USMC. It makes me think of Richard Francis Burton and John Hanning Speke seeing Victoria Falls for the first time. Your photos look a lot like the drawings in "Lake Regions of Central Africa"--it seems the falls are little changed since the 19th century. Pretty cool. :) Best wishes, George |

It made me cry happy tears. I've been to Vic Falls and it is one of the most awesome and beautiful places on the planet! I love it there.
