Title: Pics of daughters wedding added (dial-up warning) Post by 65fstbk on Feb 9th, 2008, 10:57am Not many on here know me, as I am more of a lurker than a poster...I have talked with a few in chat,though. I originally registered in 2000, but lost my password/user-name, so I am familiar with quite a few names. I just wanted to post that today is the "big day" for my second oldest daughter (I have 4 :o )..she is the one on the left. . http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q30/51custom/DCFN0010_edited.jpg . . It will be held at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel (Cleveland Ohio, of course :P )..The new son-in-law is a great guy and I am very happy for my daughter. Hopefully the beast will stay at bay tonight (last 2 nites have been pf )...I wont temp him with any adult beverages, but still hope to have a good time!...Just wanted to post this... Joe |

As a reply to all the remarks about their teeth...yes, a small fortune was spent on those mouths, and to their credit, they have done a great job of doing what they were supposed too to keep them that way. (the oldest..31 years old..still wears her retainer). As for the Father/Daughter dance, it was emotional for me as well.Its hard to express what heart felt words were spoken, but she ended it with thanking me for being her dad. :'( .. that should be a "smiley" with a smile as they were tears of joy and pride. I hope Im not rambling, but a quick story..Ill shorten it...lol...When the youngest was in elementary school, she was learning about making the "right" choices and peer preasure, etc.the older girls were "dating" (there is 13 years between the youngest and oldest). One night as Jenni was preparing to "go out", as she was leaving, Kristin said......in a TOTALLY serious tone...."Jenni..remember when you are out tonight, make good choices!"...Me and my wife about cracked up, hearing that advice from a 7 year old to a 17 year old. Pretty much from that day on, when-ever Jenni would leave the house...even to go to the grocery store, I would always call her back and say....in a TOTALLY serious tone...."Jenni, make good choices"..its kinda been our little joke....At the end of the Father/Daughter dance, I held Jenni, and said..."Jenni...you have MADE good choices!"... Title: Re: Pics of daughters wedding added (dial-up warni Post by 65fstbk on Feb 12th, 2008, 7:01am Well...stressing about the girls and money has pretty much been my job since we got married... ;;D ...It seems the older they got, the more expensive they got...3 of them were cheerleaders from Jr Hi thru Varsity, with one of them on a squad that qualified for National Competition in Orlando Fla (we live in Ohio)..of course she had to pay her own way. I also dont think I have missed a Jr. Hi or High School sporting event since 1992 :o ..One was Homecoming Queen..One qualified for the State track meet (100 m dash)..another was in cross country...karate,various clubs,National Honor Society (wait..that one was a freebie for me, just got to be proud of them )etc...very active girls....and then...off to college..I still am putting the youngest 2 through (well..me and student loans)...In the mean time, when the oldest got married, she decided that a wedding in Outer Banks N.C. on the beach would be nice....so..off to the beach we go for her wedding (3 years ago)....I guess what Im saying is, dont sweat it...kids cost money, but somehow when its needed you will come up with it, and when you look back you will be proud of what they were able to accomplish. The reason I am reposting, is last night I stayed up and put some of the wedding pics that 2 of my daughters e-mailed me on a photobucket page...here is the link if anyone wants to view them...there is 4 pages, but I havent titled anything yet, so,...if any questions about who is who, ask and Ill try to explain.: . http://s257.photobucket.com/albums/hh237/jenniswedding/?start=60 . .
