http://www.channel3000.com/index.html The front page has an article on the snow storm and backup created. A state of emergency has been called and the national guard is assisting moterists.

No wonder the state tropper would not let me on I90 after work last night. I had to take the side roads. quite an adventure.

I heard a guy on the radio this morning who spent 11 hours in that mess yesterday before they got him out. He was one of the LUCKY ones that didn't have to spend the night.

I came back across there Tues Nite, trying hard to beat the snow, but hit ice. Normally it is about 6 1/2 hrs from the Twin Cities to home for me, but it took 13 1/2 hours to make the trip. Glad I didn't stop for the night like I was supposed to!!!

One semi in front of me hit the ice up by Mauston and did a complete 360 degree spin in the highway. How he kept from hitting the cab on the trailer when it jacknifed I have no idea, and how he kept from going into the ditch amazes me. He has to have a BIG guardian angel that pushed on that truck and kept it on the road. ;;D

Glad to hear from you folks up there that you are ok.

Does anyone have an update on interstate 39 going north? I'm headed that way tomorrow morning, prob hit Janesville around 2:30 pm. Any updates are really appreciated. I have a 4x4 Ford F 150, with plenty of weight in the back, and new tires.

We'll get there sooner or later tomorrow, Pegg.

Tomorrow is my BIG moving day. It is just suppose to be light occassional flurries. Hope this helps you out some.
